본 과목은 질병과 면역계, 그리고 인간 질병 치료에의 응용에 대한 기초 지식을 제공함을 목표로 한다. 주요 주제들로는 선천적 면역(innate immunity), 획득 면역(accqired immunity), 항체의 다양성과 작용 기작, 면역관련 질병, 종양면역학, 장기 이식, 백신, HIV와 flu이며, 면역 감시와 진단, 감염 예방, 전염병과 공중 보건 등 면역학 및 실험 기술들의 응용에 대해 학습한다.
교과목해설(영문)
This course is aimed to provide the student with a basic knowledge of diseases and immune system and its application to cure of human disease. Major topics are innate immunities, acquired immunity, diversity and action mechanisms of antibodies, immune-related diseases, cancer immunology, organ transplantation, vaccine, HIV and flu. Finally, applications of immunology and immunological techniques used in the surveillance, prevention and control of infectious diseases of public health will be learned.
