미생물은 공기, 물, 토양과 같은 환경과 생물체에 널리 존재하여 인간생활과 밀접한 관계를 맺고 있다. 본 강좌에서는 미생물의 종류, 구조와 기능 및 특성에 대하여 강의함으로서 인간생활과 미생물의 관계를 이해하고, 미생물을 이용한 생명공학 기술에 대한 지식을 습득하게 한다.
교과목해설(영문)
Existing in a variety of environment such as air, water and soil, microorganisms bear a close relation to human life. This course shall deal with the types of microorganisms together with their structure, functions and characteristics to help students understand the relationship between microorganisms and human life and work up a knowledge on microbiology, which provides fundamentals for biotechnology.
